Goat milkPasteurized milk

Jauma and his wife Maria transform the milk of their goats into in our opinion the best Garrotxa of Spain. The dairy is located in a 250 years old caserio in the heart of the Garrotxa forest region, which belongs to the Mediterranean mountains of Catalonia. May be this is the reason why this Garrotxa is that buttery and creamy with its unique long lasting taste, without being neither sharp nor too goaty. It has a natural blue mould rind, due to the extremely humid climate of the area where it is produced. It’s perfect as a snack thinly sliced with fresh bread and wine. Goes perfectly with salads. Ideal for people who are allergic to cow’s milk. Garrotxa is delicious with young fruity white wines, sherries or sweet muscatels.
