Cebreiro D.O.P.

Cebreiro is a semi-soft cheese made from cows from the Galician Rubia breed, brown Alpine or Friesian breeds, or any of their crosses. This cheese is traditionally crafted in a small dairy in the Lugo mountains of Galicia. It has a mushroom or chef’s hat shape, with a cylindrical base. The cheese is soft and grainy and melts in the mouth, white in color with a slightly acidic flavor. Goes well with fresh bread, as well as combined with honey or sweet wine jam. Perfect as a dessert. |
